Produce small quantities of novel polymers in various forms - strands, sheets, pellets, and blown films. Integrated melt pressure and melt temperature measuring ports, along different length/diameter (L/D) extruder barrels, allow for in-depth study of process parameters. Connect dies to form the polymer melt into strands or films. Utilize specialized rheological dies (slit, rod, x-die) to measure shear and elongational viscosity at defined shear rates.
