VIC-3D 8 System

The VIC-3D 8 System is a capable system to measure and visualize both strain and movement of surfaces as well as shape and displacement, all in three dimensions, of the samples. Based on the principle of Digital Image Correlation, the actual object movement is measured.

Arbitary displacements and strains from 50 microstrain to 2000% and above can be measured for sample with sizes ranging from less than 1 mm to more than 10 mm. The setup is simple and fast and no special illumination or lasers are required.
