Blown Film Line


The blown film extrusion lines from OCS are used to produce high-quality films for a variety of applications. The lines use a unique process to convert the film bubble into a flat layer film, which can then be measured for impurities, haze, gloss, density, and other characteristics. The lines are also equipped with a variety of features that make them ideal for testing a wide range of polymers, including PP, PET, PC, HDPE, and LDPE.

The lines use a combination of adjustable wooden grids and Teflon coated rolls to convert the film bubble into a flat layer film. The grids are used to control the thickness of the film, while the Teflon coated rolls help to prevent the film from sticking to the rolls. The lines also use a guiding roll system to prevent wrinkles in the film.

An optical device measures the width of the flattened film and controls the diameter of the film bubble. The tower height is electrically driven and adjustable, which allows the lines to be used to produce films of different sizes. The take-off nip rolls are driven pneumatically and their temperature is optionally controlled.

All parameters of the system, e.g. extruder speed, temperature, haul-off speed, film width, film bubble ratio, etc. are stored in the touch panel control system, which guarantees the reproducibility of the film quality at any time.
