Melt Flow Indexers are used to measure the melt flow index MFR in g/10min and the volume flow index MVR in cm3/10min of pellets, powder or fine granules.

The GÖTTFERT Melt indexer series, from entry level machine to highly automatic machine with automatic weight selection, can carry out tests according to ISO 1133 and ASTM D 1238, method B, as well as ISO 1133 and ASTM D 1238 method C, which is the "Half Height / Half Diameter" standard.It can be used for performing test according to method D for the FRR test (Flow Rate Ratio) and ASTM D 3364. Manual method A is also possible to be performed with the machine.
