Ants Scientific AF500 3D Sample Mixer

3D Laboratory Sample Mixer for High-Uniformity Dry and Wet Mixing

The Ants Scientific AF500 3D Sample Mixer is a laboratory mixing system designed for the high-uniformity mixing of materials with different types and particle sizes. It uses a three-dimensional movement pattern to mix samples inside a completely enclosed container, supporting dry-dry, dry-wet and wet-wet mixing.

The AF500 is available with 500 mL, 1 L and 2 L mixing containers and provides continuously adjustable speeds from 20–120 rpm. Its enclosed mixing system helps minimize dust generation and simplifies cleaning, making it suitable for laboratory sample preparation where uniformity and contamination control are important.

Key Advantages

  • Three-dimensional mixing movement
  • Designed for high-uniformity sample mixing
  • Suitable for materials with different particle sizes

  • Completely enclosed mixing container
  • Lower shear mixing action
  • Container capacities of 500 mL, 1 L and 2 L
  • Plastic, stainless-steel and aluminium container options
  • Adjustable speed of 20–120 rpm
  • Forward, reverse and intermittent operation
  • Stores up to 20 cycle programs
  • Stores up to 10 SOPs
  • LCD touchscreen operation
  • Easy container removal and cleaning
  • Compact design
  • Reduced dust exposure during mixing

Key Applications

  • Environmental Samples – soil and environmental materials
  • Food – food and particulate materials
  • Pharmaceutical & Medicine – medicinal and pharmaceutical materials
  • Chemical Materials – powders and chemical samples
  • Electronics – electronic-related sample materials
  • Industrial Materials – materials requiring high-uniformity mixing

Working Principle

The AF500 uses a combination of rotation, movement and inversion within a closed container. This three-dimensional movement continuously changes the orientation and position of the sample, promoting uniform mixing while reducing excessive shear.

The enclosed container allows different types of materials to be mixed without exposing the sample directly to the surrounding environment.
