The RuboSORP BTC /PSA series offers customized solutions for measuring breakthrough curves. Each system has a gas dosing unit to generate the desired fluid flows. The gas mixture is fed under the desired pressure through the stainless steel container filled with sorbent. Two thermal mass flow controllers are used for gas dosing and the pressure in the adsorber is adjusted via a corresponding pressure control valve. By adapting the analysis such as coupling to a mass spectrometer, a wide variety of sorptive gas mixtures can be used. Optionally, two or more adsorbers can be integrated. In this way, complex pressure swing adsorption ( PSA ) processes can also be studied.
