Horizontal Sieve Shaker for Powder and Bulk Material Particle Size Analysis
The Ants Scientific AF150 Horizontal Sieve Shaker is a laboratory particle size analysis system designed primarily for dry powders and loose bulk materials. Its horizontal circular vibration provides controlled movement of the sieve stack, allowing particles to be separated according to their size.
The AF150 accommodates analytical sieves from 100 to 400 mm diameter, supports sample quantities up to 5 kg, and can produce up to 17 particle-size fractions depending on the sieve configuration. Digital adjustment of speed, sieving time and interval operation allows the AF150 to be adapted to different sample types and standardized laboratory procedures.

Working Principle
The AF150 uses an eccentric drive to move the sieve stack in a horizontal circular motion with a 15 mm radius. Multiple sieves can be stacked together, allowing the sample to be separated into different particle-size fractions.
Particles smaller than the respective sieve aperture pass downward through the sieve stack, while larger particles remain on the appropriate sieve.
