Laboratory Beater Mill for Dry, Brittle and Medium-Hard Materials
The Ants Scientific AM350 Beater Mill is a laboratory sample preparation mill designed for the efficient pulverization of dry, brittle and medium-hard materials. With a powerful 2,200 W drive and an adjustable rotary speed of 2,000–4,000 rpm, the AM350 provides controlled and efficient size reduction for laboratory, industrial batch and continuous processing applications.
The AM350 uses a rotor-based grinding principle combining repeated hammering, shear, impact and friction to reduce sample size. Material is retained in the grinding chamber until it is small enough to pass through the selected bottom sieve, providing direct control over the final particle size. With suitable grinding conditions, the AM350 can achieve a final fineness of approximately 100 µm.
A range of interchangeable rotors, cutting bars and bottom sieves allows the AM350 Beater Mill to be configured for different sample preparation requirements. The removable grinding sets also make the system easier to clean between samples.
