SLOT DIE COATING

Slot-die coating by FOM Technologies, is a new and precise technique for depositing a thin and highly uniform liquid film onto the surface of a substrate. The FOM Slot-die Coating machine utilizes this highly scalable and cost optimized technique with minimal material waste for rapidly depositing various liquid chemistries onto substrates of different materials ranging from glass, metal to polymers. This is made possible by the unique design and engineering of the slot die head equipped with precise metering and dispensing of the process fluid at a controlled rate while the coating die is moved relative to the substrate.
