VIC-3D is the industry-leading full-field solution for accurate, non-contact 3D strain and displacement measurement. This advanced Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system provides three-dimensional displacements and strain data at every point on your specimen’s surface. We offer fully customized VIC-3D systems optimized for your specific requirements, covering a wide range of size scales for both quasi-static and high-speed dynamic testing events.
The VIC-2D System is a complete, turnkey solution delivering full-field two-dimensional displacement and strain data for mechanical testing of planar specimens. Utilizing optimized correlation algorithms, it accurately measures in-plane displacements and strains at every point within the area of interest. Results are visualized instantly through full-field contour plots displayed at every time step, providing comprehensive surface analysis.
The VIC-EDU System is an accessible, low-cost solution specifically developed for academic institutions. It is designed to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate students the fundamental techniques of Digital Image Correlation (DIC). VIC-EDU utilizes the same accurate DIC algorithms found in our powerful, industry-standard VIC-3D software, enabling students to quickly and easily acquire valuable experimental data for their studies and research.
VIC-Volume is advanced Digital Volume Correlation (DVC) software designed for measuring the internal deformation within a material volume. Using quantitative image analysis on image slices acquired via X-Ray or CT scanners, VIC-Volume extends the principles of 2D and 3D Digital Image Correlation (DIC). By incorporating the z-dimension (depth), it provides a complete full-volume characterization of the material’s internal behavior under load.
